Puckamuck Horse Manure
At Garden Sage we love Puckamuck – it’s an amazing completely natural and well rotted manure. It lovingly enriches soil with nutrients and has ‘no harmful chemicals included’. It is of course Peat Free, but we think that goes without saying!

Puckamuck Ingredients
Horse manure & shavings .. that’s it! They do of course shred it, turn it and aerate it and then leave it to mature for anything up to a year. So all that love and care really does mean you have a perfect ‘natural growth accelerator’ .
Oh and by the way, the manure is collected from racing stables in Surrey and Sussex, so you are effectively digging thoroughbred manure into your beds. We love that! Puckamuck recommend that you use manure 1 – 2 times a year for ‘optimal results’. It can be used either as mulch in the Autumn or dug into your soil in the spring. Its not recommended that you use Puckamuck as compost. You can find out more about Puckamuck from their website.
